Half-Year General Meeting 2020

We regret to announce that our event in London will not go ahead as planned.

As the Coronavirus pandemic still has a tight grip on our daily lives, we are seeing that many events are cancelled or postponed. We, too, are concerned about the health of our members and guests and have been monitoring the situation closely.

After careful consideration of the different scenarios together with our hosting members in the UK, the Management Committee has decided that it is not feasible to hold our General Meeting in-person in London in September 2020.

While we were optimistic in the beginning that September was far enough away to proceed with our plans for the General Meeting, as it stands today we cannot guarantee that we will be able to hold the event.  Given the uncertainty of the situation which includes concerns about the safety of air travel and actual travel restrictions that are still in place, we understand that it is currently not possible for our members to make any travel plans for September.

However, cancelling the conference altogether is not an option for us.
For this reason, we will organize a one-day Virtual General Meeting on the Friday, 11 September 2020, instead. We stay committed to bringing together our members and hope that we will be able to capture some of the spirit of our General Meetings online.
